Challenges
Consolidating a variety of features, including online shopping, loyalty tracking, store navigation, barcode scanning, and account management, into a single, unified, and user-friendly interface was a significant challenge during the development of the New World app. It was technically challenging to guarantee real-time data synchronization between Clubcard activity and online purchases across more than 140 store locations. Thorough testing and iteration were also necessary to design a responsive, accessible user interface that accommodated a range of age groups and shopping habits.
